Terms of Service
Effective date: October 4, 2026
Welcome to 101HI. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of 101hi.com (the “Platform”), operated by 101 HI Home Development (“101HI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. What 101HI Is and Is Not
101HI is a marketplace and lead-generation platform. Customers describe home-service projects, and 101HI may deliver a verified request to as many as four eligible independent service professionals (“Providers”). 101HI does not perform services, employ Providers, or become a party to a Customer’s agreement with a Provider.
Current availability: Live lead matching is not yet available. The matching and payment trial uses test accounts only; Stripe remains in TEST mode and no real money lead charges are enabled.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
- You must provide accurate information and protect your credentials.
- We may suspend or terminate fraudulent, harmful, or noncompliant use.
3. Terms for Customers
- Submitting a project request is free for Customers.
- You agree that 101HI may share your request, name, verified email address or mobile number, and project location with up to four matched Providers so they can contact you about that request.
- 101HI chooses eligible recipients using their selected categories, service ZIP codes or travel radius, availability, spending limits, and fair distribution. We do not guarantee that a match will be available.
- You decide whether to hire and which responding Provider to hire. You remain responsible for checking licenses, insurance, qualifications, scope, price, and contract terms.
- After a request is delivered, a matched Provider will usually call within 5 minutes to 6 hours. Six hours after each Provider receives the request, we share that business’s confirmed name and phone with the Customer by email and in the signed-in My Projects account, whether or not a call has taken place. A queued request with no delivery has no matched-provider contacts to share. Contact timing and a Provider’s response are not guaranteed.
- You agree to submit only genuine requests and accurate contact information.
- If you request verification or service messages by SMS, message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
4. Terms for Providers
- Paid leads. A lead is a verified Customer request delivered with contact details. A lead may be delivered to as many as four Providers and does not guarantee a response, appointment, sale, or completed job.
- Charge timing. By activating lead delivery and saving a payment method, you authorize 101HI and Stripe to charge the displayed lead fee when the lead is successfully delivered to you.
- Category prices and controls. Each request carries the fixed price of its routed category, frozen when the request is created. The project-value estimate does not set the fee. The Pro Lead Center shows category prices before activation. A later price change applies only to new requests. You can choose or remove categories, choose service ZIP codes or a travel radius, pause or stop future leads, set a maximum lead price, and set a monthly cap. Monthly spending is counted before refunds; a refund does not restore that allowance.
- Refund requests. Eligible refund requests may be submitted within the period and for the reasons shown in the Pro Lead Center. Refunds receive manual review and are not automatic merely because a Customer does not hire you.
- Business contact sharing. Before activation, you must confirm your business name and phone and authorize sharing them with each Customer whose lead you receive, by email and in their signed-in dashboard six hours after delivery. A delivered-then-refunded lead remains in this contact history; a never-delivered lead does not.
- Account and history. Pausing or stopping future leads does not close your account or automatically remove your lead history, including past jobs, charges and refunds. Legal access or deletion requests go to support for human review; financial records are retained as permitted by law.
- Your responsibilities. You must maintain all licenses, permits, insurance, and legal authority required for your services. You are responsible for your business card, pricing, customer communications, and work.
- Providers are independent businesses, not employees, agents, or partners of 101HI.
5. Reviews and User Content
- Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and must not be deceptive or unlawful.
- You grant 101HI a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use content you upload for operating and promoting the Platform.
- Business cards and provider information may be used for matching, administration, and lead delivery. 101HI may remove content that violates these Terms.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You may not circumvent Platform fees; misuse Customer data; use a delivered lead for an unrelated purpose; post false, deceptive, or infringing content; impersonate another person or business; interfere with Platform security; or use the Platform unlawfully.
7. Fees and Payment
Fees are stated in U.S. dollars and processed by Stripe. The Pro Lead Center shows the applicable lead-fee rules and your selected limits. Pausing or stopping stops future delivery but does not reverse a charge for a lead already delivered. We may change pricing rules with reasonable notice before the changed rules apply to future leads.
8. Matching and Estimates
101HI may use automated systems to categorize projects, prepare questions, estimate project-value ranges, apply fixed category lead prices, and rank eligible Providers. Estimates are informational and are not a Customer quote or a guarantee of final project cost. Provider identities are not promised or displayed before lead delivery.
9. Intellectual Property
The Platform, its software, design, logos, and 101HI-created content are owned by 101HI or its licensors and protected by applicable law.
10. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 101HI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. 101HI DOES NOT GUARANTEE LEAD VOLUME, CUSTOMER RESPONSE, PROVIDER AVAILABILITY, ESTIMATED PROJECT VALUE, OR THE QUALITY, SAFETY, LEGALITY, OR TIMELINESS OF PROVIDER SERVICES.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 101HI AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. 101HI’S TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO 101HI DURING THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS OR $100, EXCEPT WHERE LAW REQUIRES OTHERWISE.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 101HI from claims and expenses arising from your Platform use, content, Provider services, or violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Class Waiver
Before filing a claim, contact support@101hi.com and attempt informal resolution for 30 days. Except for small-claims matters and injunctive relief, disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its applicable Consumer Arbitration Rules. You and 101HI waive jury trial and class-action participation. You may opt out by emailing us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
14. Governing Law and Changes
California law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these Terms by posting a revised effective date; material changes may also be announced by email or Platform notice.
