Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 4, 2026
101 HI Home Development (“101HI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates 101hi.com, a marketplace that delivers verified Customer project requests to matched independent service professionals (“Providers”). This Policy explains what we collect, use, and share.
1. Information We Collect
- Customers: project description and answers, timing, project address, city and ZIP, name, email, phone, verification status, consent, and request-delivery status.
- Providers: account and business details, selected service categories, ZIP codes or travel radius, confirmed business-contact sharing details and consent, business card text and authorized photos, license and availability information, lead settings, spending limits, payment-customer identifiers, charge history, and refund requests.
- Payments: Stripe processes payment methods and lead charges. 101HI stores Stripe identifiers and limited card details such as brand and last four digits, not full card numbers.
- Usage: IP address, browser/device information, pages visited, referring URLs, cookies, security events, and similar operational data.
2. How We Use Information
- To understand a project, prepare relevant questions, estimate project value, and apply its fixed category lead price; the estimate does not set the fee;
- To verify the selected Customer email address or mobile number, save their contact details, verify a chosen contact method during sign-in, and prevent false, duplicate, or abusive requests;
- To match and deliver a request to up to four eligible Providers using service fit, location, availability, licensing information, ratings, limits, and fair distribution;
- To manage provider accounts, business cards, payment authorization, lead charges, pauses, caps, stopping future leads, and refunds;
- To send transactional email or SMS, operate location suggestions, provide support, prevent fraud, and comply with law;
- To analyze anonymous answer patterns and improve future project questions.
3. How We Share Customer Requests
After a Customer completes the project interview, provides the project location, consents, and verifies their email address or mobile number, 101HI may deliver the request and Customer contact details to as many as four eligible Providers. Those Providers may contact the Customer by phone, text, or email about that request. We do not publish Customer contact details or project addresses in a public directory.
4. Other Sharing
- Vendors: hosting and email providers, Twilio for phone verification and SMS, Stripe for payment processing, and Google for mapping/address suggestions.
- Legal and safety: authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, and the Platform.
- Business transfers: a successor in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or asset sale.
We do not sell personal information to unaffiliated data brokers and do not share SMS consent for third-party marketing.
5. Automated Processing
101HI uses automated rules and locally operated AI models to categorize project descriptions, generate project questions, estimate project-value ranges, and group anonymous “Other” answers for administrator review. Contact details and exact project addresses are not sent to the local AI model. An administrator decides whether a recurring answer becomes a new wizard choice. Lead fees use the request’s frozen category price, not the project-value estimate.
6. Provider and Public-Record Information
Our service catalog includes information from Providers and public California Contractors State License Board records. Public-record entries may include business name, license number, classification, filed address, and telephone number. We use catalog information for service coverage, matching, administration, and claim/removal requests. Provider contact details and exact street addresses are not exposed as a public customer directory under the current model. With the Provider’s confirmation and consent, six hours after delivery we share that business’s name and phone with the Customer of that lead, by email and in their signed-in My Projects account, whether or not they have already spoken. This is private sharing for that matched pair, not a public directory.
A business may ask to claim, correct, or remove its record by emailing support@101hi.com from an address associated with the business and including identifying business and license information.
7. Text Messages
We may send requested verification and transactional SMS. Message frequency varies and message/data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to SMS is not a condition of purchasing services. Providers receiving a matched lead may separately contact the Customer about that request as disclosed during submission.
8. Cookies and Location Services
We use cookies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, measure usage, and protect the Platform. Address suggestions are provided by Google Maps and may send typed location information to Google under Google’s Privacy Policy.
9. Your Choices and Rights
- You may update or delete account information through your account or by contacting us.
- Providers can choose or remove categories, change their service ZIP codes or travel radius, pause or stop future leads, and change spending limits in the Pro Lead Center.
- You may opt out of marketing email and may ask a matched Provider to stop contacting you.
- California residents may request access, correction, or deletion and may exercise applicable CCPA/CPRA rights without discrimination by contacting us.
10. Retention
We retain information as needed to operate accounts, verify and deliver requests, document charges and refunds, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Pausing or stopping leads does not close a Provider’s account or automatically remove their lead history. Legal access or deletion requests go to support for human review; financial records are retained as permitted by law. Anonymous or aggregated data may be retained longer.
11. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including HTTPS in transit and restricted administrative access. No transmission or storage method is completely secure.
12. Children and External Services
The Platform is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. Third-party services linked from the Platform have their own privacy practices.
13. Changes and Contact
We may update this Policy and will post the new effective date. Questions or privacy requests: support@101hi.com
